For the 2023 London Design Festival, artist Yu-Mei Huang collaborates with BAO's Erchen Chang to present "A LONG DAY" at BAO King's Cross. This melding showcases the harmony of Yu-Mei's signature knit textures with Erchen's evocative sketches, paying tribute to the symbolic 'Lonely Man'. Drawing inspiration from "包" (bāo), which signifies both "bun" and "bag" in Chinese, the innovative "Lonely Bags" come to life. These creations effortlessly intertwine detailed illustrations with knit techniques, encapsulating emotions of a day's end.

Yu-Mei, celebrated for her distinctive knit pleats, showcases designs evoking memories of Taiwan's iconic red-striped market bags. She places an emphasis on sustainability, durability, and impeccable craftsmanship.
