Atelier Ari has unveiled "Le Voyeur," an innovative pavilion in a newly designed park at the historic site of Europe's largest coal mining factory in Drocourt, France. This pavilion is a reflective space where families and individuals can appreciate the transformed post-industrial landscape. Designed as an inverted watchtower, visitors lie on a trampoline within the pavilion to view their surroundings from unique angles. A large, oval aluminium mirror strategically placed at the top allows an overhead view of artificial lakes and former slag heaps, presenting the landscape in an entirely new light.

By mirroring the interior and its occupants high above ground, the pavilion connects past and present, integrating the historic architecture of the mining area with a modern twist. The structure itself, made from plywood and featuring arched corners, hints at the architectural heritage of the demolished mining buildings. "Le Voyeur" is a part of the 'Odyssée des Cabanes' competition, aimed at promoting the natural spaces of the Chaîne des Parcs in Northern France.
