Is anyone curious about what happened after “The Tortoise and The Hare” story? We made a metal pop-up book based on the idea of the bunny’s failure and confusion. After struggling through the mess; the bunny will find a new direction. By reading pages by pages of the warmly designed book, people could get inspired and get out of their emotional trouble.

Ladies and Gentlemen, are you intrigued by an extension of the familiar 'Tortoise and the Hare' story? Tan Jing Mei, Li Jia Yun, and Guo Fu Rong have collaboratively embarked on an in-depth creative exploration centred on the little rabbit from this well-known tale. The rabbit's failure within the story serves as the genesis of our creation, through which we navigate his despair and confusion to unearth the value of seeking one's breakthrough.
This time, they've chosen reading as a medium for therapeutic guidance and specifically opted for metal to construct their piece. The three-dimensional metal pages endow the work with a sturdy structure and etch our messages of encouragement and hope page by page. Much like reading, flipping through each page, we can find a connection between ourselves and the world and the power this connection confers, aiding us to surmount emotional predicaments and liberate ourselves from the prison we set for ourselves.
Their artwork is a form of artistic creation and a guide to the soul. We anticipate that you can, through experiencing this piece, embody the little rabbit, undergo failures and perplexities, yet ultimately find your breakthrough and derive healing and growth from it. We believe that through this three-dimensional metal book, we can transmit a potent force of positivity, guiding us to persevere on life's journey.

Focusing on product design development through metal craftsmanship, our program is distinctive from the standard industrial design departments. In addition to the foundational common subjects, our curriculum offers courses such as Basic Metalworking, Jewelry Expression Techniques, Specialized Metalworking Research, Metal Product Creation, Gemology, Practical Metalworking and Modeling Appreciation, Molding, Model Making, Product Design, Product Representation Techniques, and Metalworking Graduation Projects.
Our program operates within sculpting classrooms, metalworking classrooms, enamel classrooms, forging classrooms, and chemical labs. We are equipped with various tools and machinery such as anvils and hammers, welding, polishing, lost-wax casting, mid-week wave precision casting machines, steam cleaning machines, precision lathes, and more. This makes us one of Taiwan's few metalworking and jewellery education programs with such comprehensive facilities. Our goal is to offer hands-on training that combines theory and practice, fostering the development of professional design talents.
